In the huge universe, a blue spaceship that carries 6 billion astronauts is flying alone. This ship is the Earth, and the astronauts are we, humans. But the earth, our only mother planet is getting more and more unhealthy. If we don’t change our present way of life, the Earth break down one day.
Luckily, most people is realizing this point and beginning to think about this serious problem. More and more facts prove that most nature disasters on human life are caused by the worse environment.
Now, green house effect leaves islands and cities along the coast, such as Shanghai, in danger of the disaster of being drowned; the holes of the ozone layer make the earth less suitable to live for some creatures including human beings;
Seeing all these facts, can we still ignore the repays of nature? We are not the masters of nature. Facing all the disasters made by ourselves, we, human as a whole should realize that we are just a normal member of the big family of nature. Any destruction towards nature will meet only with the revenge from her.
A lot of science data ask us to protect our green homeland no time to delay. It’s very important to take care of our environment. Everyone must do something for protecting the environment.
Wherever you live, you can do something around your neighborhood. Have you ever thrown any litter onto the ground? Have you ever drawn pictures on public walls? Have you ever cut down trees? If your answers are "No", it means that you have already helped protect our environment. It is our duty to keep our environment clean and tidy. You might ask yourself, "Have I ever picked up some rubbish and thrown it into a dustbin? Have I ever collected waste paper or bottles for reuse? Have you ever planted any trees or flowers in or near my neighborhood?” If your answers are "Yes", it means that you have already done something useful to improve the environment.
From now on, let us take action to love our beautiful nature, to do any little effort of protecting environment. Starting from me, from our side, our life will be better one day.
