8. The style of “ammonite”, “In stereo” and “Petrol” is a bit different from your newer albums “Turbulence” and “Via”. What inspired your earlier albums?
ANIS: Well, I don’t think the core of our music has changed from our start point until now. But albums always reflect the moment we are in. May be we grew up a bit?
ALI: Personally, my life was in a mess when we were making those earlier albums. Musically, I think we were trying to discover our own original sound. After Petrol, I remember making a conscious effort to change, not because it wasn't working, but because we felt we mastered that style to a certain extent and needed to expand. Inspiration comes from feelings and emotional roller coaster.

9. What were your feelings when the work on the new album “Via” was done? What hardships have you encountered during the recording?
ALI: Relieved. Can't really remember the hardships but I think there were plenty.
ANIS: We had a Tour and the recording {of Via}going on at the same time. I think it was hard physically. But it was the first time that we worked so hard in such short period, so it was really challenging. Usually we’re very slow in recording, but it was a newly found feeling to concentrate on making music that intensely. I had to drink cola at after-parties while all the others drank beer and sake… to keep my voice intact for recording and shows. That was not rock’n roll at all!
10. What's the main idea you want to express through this album? In other words, what was your inspiration during the process of creation?
ALI: Most of the songs in Via was created before we recorded Turbulence. Some are older, some new. It is a compilation of these old and new songs. We don't have a central idea for any album but the atmosphere of the emotions we go through somehow always creep into the sound.
