Another TL;DR question here:
We see that after the 23.04.2026 server update which screwed over the CN top-tier jets, there was a trend from the Chinese player base to join the boycott effort on the anti-cheat/toxic internal workplace culture, or independently initiate another one based on this specific update. And we see on the media released on 29/2/2026 there was no mentioning on the current situation -apparently the SNAIL (no offense intended) tried to escape from the potential aspect of a united action between the mainly Western players (e.g. on Reddit) and the Chinese players, maybe also flipped a bird towards Chinese by releasing the Japanese-themed golden week event, together with the sale. Then we see on 30/4/2026 the press release regarding the allegations of anti-cheat stealing our personal data. Shall we say that this approach in press releases is intended to divide the boycott groups into Chinese/Western camps and incite infighting between them?
