haha, when i was studying in secondary school,i do believe that the life in university is colourful, we can miss the lessons if we like, we can join the exchange programs every summer, the most attractive thing is that we need not to study hard, much more easy than secondary school. But when i grow older, i found that i was faked. it is true that we can miss the lessons if we like, but if our attendance percentage below standard, we may fail;we can join the exchange programs if we have good academic results so we need to study hard which may even much harder than we did in the past.
um...i don't know if there are differences between our universities, but at least in my mind, the universities in hong kong is that look like.

well....as i said at L495 before, i haven't start my lesson yet,so i am not sure whether they mainly speak in cantonese. but in my experience, most of them speak in cantonese when talking, but they tends to writing in english. oh, for some outstanding students or the students studying in law, medicine...they would mainly speak in english due to the environment they stay is full of foreigners.

haha, in fact, i seldom watch hong kong drama but usually japanese. i think the japanese dramas are more thoughtful and can give us reflections. just like "全开女孩" the drama i am watching these days, it really touches me as it is talking about a man who give up his dream because he afraid to fight the chance back. just what i am doing, the drama help me to face to my problems that i always evade.
um....i am studying in social work. so i also need to practice my communication skills and learn how to start the chat and continue it.

Ya,i have been told that Hong Kong people love Japanese so much so it's normal that you love to watch Japanese drama. But how poor i am,i only watched two Japanese drama this before邂逅&美丽人生.The story of drama which you recommended is quite nice,i'll check it out if i have free time.
Communication skill is very important especially when you go to work after that.By the way, hope you enjoy your Uni life.

                      OK DEAR EVERYONE HERE
I suggest you`d better not be very confident about oral english unless you ever got special trianing or lived aboard, for what`s the most important to be awre of fora kind of language is enviroment ,told by former high school english teacher, which
i consider very resonable .under china`s english teaching way ,aimed at tests and ignoring feasibility ,practice ,so-called skills are far from making ourselves understood in english well ,I never forget the embarrassement when i told a foriener who claimed to be lost how to find the bus stop with a "fluent"tune while he gave me a puzzled ,perplexed, facial expression,so there is a certain difference between written english and spoken english ,we should manage to get our english improved.
