yup,just what you've said.and in my opinion, communication skill is the most difficult part in working place.for the working skills such as word processing...we may learn later, but to cooperate with others, communication is a must.
in these few months, i had a summer jobs, which was being a waitress. at the beginning, i thought it was just an easy job, just need to take orders from customers, to serve them.but it was totally wrong,having good communication with customers is important, but having good relationship with colleagues is much more important.but i am quit weak at that part coz i am too shy to talk to them, haha.


um....may be most of the year one students think as what i thought before.but it is good for us to change our mind earlier as later you'll find it is worth it.many of us always waste our year one in playing computer games, shopping or playing with housemates over night cos the year 1 is as if our "honeymoon". but later on, when they becoming year 2/3 students and they need to prepare their graduation dissertations or those important examinations, they would feel much heavier and have lots of difficulties as they lost an year.
