Don't be too passive and take initiative to communicate with strangers.I know it's not an easy job but just try your best to do that.(Actually i talk to myself because i'm a passive person too.)

haha, in fact i am a optimistic girl and very hyper in my own group--with my friends only.i reckon i am quite strange as i would very active to make new friend when my friends by my side, i would play crazily with new friends and have an endless chat with them when my friends here.but when i meet new friends by myself, i would fear to talk to them, i would become a quiet girl and sit properly at a corner. i've tried to talk with them but i always feel uncomfortable and hard to continue the chat,and the chat is less funnier and much borer.[sigh] what happens to me?


You don't have to worry about that because it's completely normal.All of us tend to be a quiet person in front of the strangers.Not just because we don't know them but also we don't know what will they think of us,that's why we become silent.Even though we have good sense of humour but we usually don't know how to show it to the strangers.Maybe the reason is we lack self confidence so we feel insecure and scare when we face the strangers without close friends beside us.I bet you'll know the answer after you start your social course in University so please tell me after that ya.
